Introduction

Welcome to JobsNZ (“the Platform”), including all workforce applications hosted on this site, currently including Odd Jobs NZ and Immediate Painters. JobsNZ is operated by @PutaiaoTech under the management of Virtual Online Contact Centre. These Terms & Conditions apply to all users of the Platform.

Scope of Terms

All activity on the Platform, including job posting, worker registration, application, or any other feature or service provided, is governed by these Terms. Acceptance of these Terms covers all current and future applications hosted under JobsNZ.

Platform Use and Independence

JobsNZ is a neutral, digital job-matching platform. It is not a recruitment agency, employer, or representative of any group, gang, or organisation. Users participate independently and in their personal capacity. JobsNZ does not endorse or affiliate with any individuals, groups, collectives, or organisations.

User Responsibility

All users agree to act responsibly and lawfully. This includes:

• Providing accurate personal and job information
• Complying with all New Zealand employment, health and safety, tax, and privacy laws
• Maintaining their own equipment, safety, and obligations for any work conducted

Compliance with New Zealand Law

Users must comply with all applicable legislation, including:

• Employment Relations Act 2000
• Health and Safety at Work Act 2015
• Privacy Act 2020
• Income Tax Act 2007 and associated tax obligations

The Platform reserves the right to remove any content, listing, or user activity that is unlawful, unsafe, misleading, or inconsistent with its intended use.

Prohibited Conduct

Users may not:

• Engage in illegal, unsafe, or harmful activities
• Harass, intimidate, or misrepresent themselves
• Post fraudulent, misleading, or unsafe job listings
• Attempt to use the Platform to organise, represent, or affiliate with any group, gang, or collective

Platform Access and Security

Users are responsible for their account security and must not share login credentials. JobsNZ reserves the right to suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms.

Intellectual Property

All content, designs, software, applications, templates, interfaces, and digital products (including but not limited to Assist applications, mobile and tablet solutions, dashboards, and proprietary workflows) on this website are the intellectual property of PutaiaoTech. Unauthorized reproduction, copying, distribution, adaptation, modification, or commercial use of any content, code, or designs without the express written permission of PutaiaoTech is prohibited.

Acceptance and Updates

Users must agree to these Terms before using the Platform. Continued use constitutes acceptance of any updates or changes. JobsNZ may update Terms at any time without prior notice.

Limitation of Liability

JobsNZ provides the Platform as a tool for connecting workers and job posters. JobsNZ/@PutaiaoTech/Virtual Online Contact Centre is not responsible for work performance, outcomes, or user behaviour. Users acknowledge they use the Platform at their own risk.

Miscellaneous

These Terms represent the full agreement between users and JobsNZ. If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, remaining provisions remain in full effect.
